i'v been up to the salmon river twice this last week and only other people stated that they have seen some salmon i say they are full of nuts. i was fishing the tressal pool in pine ville and i walked a healthy mile and yea i caught a lot of fish but not one big fish swam by or away from me what i have been catching are little stocky bows or some might call them scamanians they all averaged 9-15 inches out of 20 trout both times only about 3 where natives. dont get me wrong i wouldnt be going there if it wasnt fun

Got a few early birds but nothing realy special. Just a few anxious fish that are lookin for love. It will be another 2 or 3 weeks before any thing worth while makes its way into the river.

The fish have made a good run in the river . Look for browns and cohos to be mixed in with the kings. These are fresh and shiney fish so they will fight like no tommorow.Look from the 2 am bridge down for fish . and by midweek I wpould not be surprised to see fish at the hatchery!!! All reports I have are good and the fishing should continue with the river running at 750.
