2004 saw the Frenzy with his best season to date .We started the year ice fishing and snow shoe hunting. We had alot of great days on black lake and Sodus bay .Jumbo perch and slab crappies were every place we fished.Durring my down time i studdied my but off for my captans licence and past it in late January.[/img]
Heres Jim Holdem The Bald Guide sporting some fine perch. The frenzy and Jim are two of the counties best guides and do work together quite often. In the past I showed him some of my favorite ice fishing spots and got him pointed down the right road to walleye success!!. In return the frenzy has picked up a few tricks from this crafty veteran as well as a good freind .We have had a blast working side by side and even have 2 prime spots Called Baldy point and Baldy corner.I will stand in that corner any day Jim . Baldy is the true master of Kings on the floats.Thanx for a great season .
As winter loosened it grip it was on to spring trout .We had a good spring with alot of good days but we had our bad days To.High winds and higher water in March and April made things tough.
Here Tim Braddford with a nice spring Brown.Tim and his son placed good in the open water derby and elected to take a ride on the frenzy express instead of the cash,
After a rough and tough early spring May had crept up on us. Our anual dual opener Spring gobblers and Big fat wall hangin EYES.
Vip Birdbanger gobbled my first 4 days and went home with An unbelivable bird and a pretty good look at things to come. The eye action was slow at times but as May turned to June the actrion heated up.One of my best memories of the spring was The Big mans gobbler and a walleye trip Baldy Myself and our new freind from the bible conf. We banged 4 walleyes in a few hours and had seen enough for one night. The eye action stayed good and we boated alot of good eyes that month.
After a geat june How could things get better?I returned to my constrution business and did a few trips on the lake. The kings arived early in the eastern basin and to every ones likeings stayed out in front of us all summer. Even though prior commitments to contracts and family I managed to fish a few dats a week.
While I sweated bullets siding houses and roofing the action on the lake statyed good .With my last construction contract forfilled I set my sights on a well deserved vacation with my honey .We went to Gettysburg and Virgina beach and had a great time .When we got back in late August the kings were still in the lake so we fished our first part of the fall season on the lake . After 2 great weeks on the lake the action switched to the river.September started of real slow . With teps in th 80 s it made fishing hard . When the weather cooled off the fishing heated up . We had a great Salmon season.I had all my return guys and a lot of new clients . A special thanx to the Paterno gang , Robby and the guys from down south, Tom Collins and his other brother Darrel , Corey.Maddoline and Jeff,Jerry ,Ben,Bill Hunt,BIll K ,Ryan,Hank Smokey and all my new clients and friends.
As fall wore on the trout action picked up we caught alot of great fish in Late october and into November.Between trips I did my scouting for the deer season . we had a tough deer season but did manage a few nice critters . The trout more than made up for the deer.
